About us

Kitsap Life Academy saw a need to support families who want to truly prepare their children for life. With the goal of combining outdoor education, Montessori, learning through experience, connecting to the land and hands on lessons we come together to provide alternatives for homeschool families across Kitsap County.

Our academy is a homeschool enrichment program. It’s a bit more than a one day a week co-op and a bit less than full time private school.

Our Mission

KLA cultivates resilience, academic, social, and life skills through direct experience, inquiry, and collaboration on the farm.

Our Vision

Our vision is that students leave with an ingrained sense of curiosity, wonder and a lasting reverence for community and the natural world.

“When children come into contact with nature, they reveal their true strength.”

— Maria Montessori
